Gingerbread Houses

I used the tutorial HERE for the Gingerbread houses. I did mess up a little and so one turned out really good and the other was not as good but my two year old didn’t mind. I will say I never knew that a box of graham crackers, some old Halloween and Easter (yes Easter!) candy would keep my kids occupied for so long. We will definitely make our own instead of the buying the kids from now on!

This one is the better of the two. The chimney doesn’t look as crooked in person.

As you can tell this is the one that didn’t turn out so well but a little icing and candy fixed it up!

This was my daughters finished product. She was too busy eating the icing. It was so funny because every time she would get a little on her fingers she would start licking it off and the next thing you knew she had licked it off the piece of candy too and would start back over!

My son on the other hand was on a mission. He worked on it for a over a hour that day and then again the next day!

Here is his finished house!

He is so proud of it!
