Bag of corn from Dad means Corn Hulling at our house.

Cutting it off the cob. Putting a small bowl turned upside down in a large bowl gives you a place to rest your ear of corn while you cut it off the cob.

Lots of yummy corn.

All of these leftovers go in my compost pile for next year’s garden.

Then I spread it out on baking pans and freeze (about 1-2 hours usually is good) then put in bags so I can just grab a handful or two when I need it for a dish or soup.

Its a busy time at our house but we enjoy these goodies all year this way.
