Some of our most viewed posts are ideas about what our kids eat. These are not exciting pictures or exciting meals but they are some typical meals for my 5 year old. I am always trying to come up with new EASY and FAST meals for my son. We eat 3 meals a day at home which meals a lot of meals and when he is ready for a meal he does not want to wait around for a long time. My son also snacks often with fresh fruits, veggies and nuts with the snacking his plates would be a bit fuller.
Breakfast: half banana (other half was in his morning smoothie) chocolate chip pancakes thawed from the freezer from another day, and bacon. I cut my bacon in half when I cook it so he thinks he getting “more” than he really is since he thinks bacon is the greatest food known to man.
Lunch: toasted cheese sandwich, fresh carrots right from the farmers market, raw spinach, trail mix, and a cut pear.
Dinner: Toast, green beans with potatoes, strawberries, Ranch Dressing, raw carrots, and broccoli sprouts. This Night he wanted a smoothie for dinner too so his plate looks a little bare.
Dinner: Peas, Raw spinach (which he LOVES), applesauce, and baked fish.
