Wipeout Party

Wipeout Party

So this is not food related but food and entertaining goes hand and hand so here are a few shots from my son’s Wipeout birthday party. Since this party was in the middle of October we did not want it to be all water activities, (even though it ended up be 85 degrees) so we added shaving cream and it made everything slippery without making a muddy mess.

We started with a 50 foot plastic tarp and put the course on top of that. This way the shaving cream worked its magic and they kids did not get covered in grass. The course started with about 10 small rings that we had about the size of dinner plates that they children had to hop from one to another. Then the most important part for my son “THE BIG BALLS” I borrowed the tires from a local service center and found the red balls online at Walmart for $10 each, which was about half price of anywhere else I looked. Next we had a “rope web” that they had to go under or through, then bars for them to go over, under, and over (used a ladder ball game we had to make these). Next we had 2 more tires that were going to be part of a balance beam but it did not work as planned so we tied them together and they had to climb through them. Then at the end we had a small pool full of water and cooked noodles for them to walk through (this was suppose to be under the balance beam, that did not work out ).

After everyone went through the first time the adults had silly string and water balloons to get the kids with then next round. They thought it was just great.

Every one had a blast and it only took about 30 minutes to set up, they played on the course for about an hour then changed clothes and did the rest of the “party” stuff.
