Canning Stove… I am in LOVE…. would work for camping too

I really enjoy Canning and having a supply of home canned goods on hand for my family, and My husband recently built me this Canning Pantry. We have have moved and our new house has a glass top stove which I can not use my pressure canner on.

I started canning outside with a fish cooker but was having to carry empty jar up stairs from the pantry, fill jars in the kitchen, then take filled jars outside to the canner, then back down to the pantry. SO… my wonderful husband made this stove outside so I can fill jars and can all in one place AND keep the heat out of the house.

After making the Table, he inserted a gas range that he converted to LP (conversion kit was included)  and we just hooked up propane and it works GREAT!  We also put it on wheels so I can role it into our detached garage or if we take it anywhere we can easily load it onto a trailer.

NOTE From my husband:We found the stove top that we used on Craigslist new. A couple had bought the wrong size. We paid $115 for ours. The conversion kit to switch it to lp came with it as well. All together including lumber and plumbing we have about $185 invested. If you don’t want it on casters you can take $30 off the price.
