Cheddar Cheese Sauce
We had this on asparagus last night and it was so yummy.
- Prep Time : 5 minutes
- Cook Time : 10 minutes
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Ground Black - 1/2 - 3/4 teaspoon
- Milk - 1 to 1 1/4 cups
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese - 1 - 1 1/2 cup grated
- Sour Cream - 1/4
- Melt butter; remove from heat.
- Mix in flour and seasonings. Slowly add milk, stirring until well mixed.
- Cook until thickened and smooth. Cook for 5 mins longer. Do not let it come to boil.
- Add cheese. Stir until blended.
