Twinkette Cupcakes
Ingredients
- Lemon Cake Mix - 1
- yellow cake mix - 1
- Pineapple Cake Mix - 1 (if this flavor is unavailable, a white cake mix canbe substituted. Substitute pineapple juice for the liquid)
- French Vanilla Filling
- Flour - 5 tablespoons
- Shortening - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 5 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Milk - 1 cup
- Vanilla - 1 teaspoon
- Butter - 1/2 cup
- Dash of Salt
Instructions
- Combine all cake mixes in the Thatsa’ Bowl. Add ingredients according to each package directions. Mix together. Fill cupcake holder 1/3 with batter. Bake in greased cupcake pans or cupcake papers for 15 minutes at 350°. Remove from oven and cool on a baking rack. Makes approx 60 cupcakes
- Combine flour, 5 T sugar together in a small saucepan. Add milk and whisk until the lumps are dissolved. Cook and stir over medium heat until thick. Cool thouroughly. Cream together other ingredients. Add cooled milk mixture and beat for 5 minutes. Put filling mixture in TW cake decorator with tip. Insert into cupcake and fill. Cupcakes can be frozen.
