Slow Cooker Sweet Oatmeal
Fixed this oatmeal this morning, I put it on High with the plans of having "breakfast for lunch" however it was ready after 2 hours. This is a new slow cooker and it has been cooking really hot so I am going to have to play around with.

Ingredients
- Brown Sugar - 1/3 cup
- Ground Cinnamon - 1 TBS
- Ground Nutmeg - 1 teaspoon
- Pears - 2-3 (depending on size), peeled, cored and diced
- Dried Cranberries - 3/4 cup
- Butter - 1/4 cup, cut into pieces
- Regular Rolled Oats - 2 cups (I used Gluten Free)
- Water - 1 cups
- Apple Juice - 3 cups
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions
- Mix the brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg together in a bowl. Add the pears and cranberries, tossing to coat evenly with the dry mixture. Pour into a slow cooker. Top with butter.
- Mix the oatmeal together with the water, apple juice, and salt in a bowl, and pour over the apple mixture in the slow cooker. Do not stir. Cover, and cook on Low for 8 hours.
