  • I doubled the recipe and put all ingredients in my stand mixer. I let it mix for a few minutes because all the recipes I saw said it needed to be kneaded for awhile. After this I placed them on a floured surface and rolled the dough to about a 1/4 inch thick.
  • Then cut them in shapes. I let the kids put hand prints in some.
  • Then I baked them for about 2 hours at 250. Ours could have baked a little longer so I sat them on the counter to dry. Some recipes said you could just leave them out and let them dry for 48 hours and others said to bake at 200 for up to six hours. So the recipes varied greatly on the drying process but what I did with ours has worked.
