Nut Topping for Salad

I REALLY enjoy having this on hand to add to add to my salads throughout the week. I crave crunchy things so this helps my craving. And it adds at little protein too when I don't have some sort of meat to add to my salad so it has some staying power.
You can use any nut of combination of nuts that you like. Here I have equal parts of raw cashew pieces, raw sliced almonds and pecans pieces.
Ingredients
- House Seasoning to Taste - (salt, pepper, garlic)
- Raw Cashew
- Raw Sliced Almonds
- Pecans
Instructions
- Just a enough butter to cover the bottom of a small pan when melted.
- House Seasoning (salt, pepper, garlic) to taste.
- Simply add everything to a pan over medium heat until butter is melted and the nuts just begin to brown a little.
- Let them cool on a paper towel. Use them to top a salad and store the rest for another day.
