Pistachio Bread
This is a great easy sweet bread and the color is greener than the pictures show. So it looks really pretty too. This loaf has even been frozen and it still tastes super yummy.
- Prep Time : 15 minutes
- Cook Time : 50 minutes
Ingredients
- Topping:
- Brown sugar - 3 T
- Cinnamon - 2 teaspoons
- For Bread
- Yellow Cake Mix - 1 (My mother uses a sugar free mix)
- Pistachio Pudding - 1 pkg (my mother uses a sugar free pudding)
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Sour Cream - 1 cup
- Eggs - 4
- Cup Oil - 1/2 cup
Instructions
- Mix cake ingredients together. Alternate layers of cake mix, sprinkle topping then another cake layer.
- Bake 325 40 – 50 minutes till toothpick comes out clean.
- Makes 2 medium loaves or 3 smaller ones.
- Cool in pan 10 minutes. Then remove to cooling rack. Cool completely. Good served with whipped cream.
- Freezes well.
