Carrots are a great way to make your budget dollar go a little further. They are low in price and keep for several days in the fridge so they are a great filler.
I add shredded carrots of my spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, and soups to add a sweetness and make things go a little farther.

Along with lots of SOUPS, STEWS, dipper for DIPS, SALADS, juice and add to smoothies, etc. We eat about 5 pounds of carrots a week at my house for my family of 3.
