Chicken N Dumplings – Slow Cooker
Made this today and it had a good flavor but turned out really thick. I cooked them closer to the 6 hours and then had to turn them on warm which I think contributed to it being so thick. I also had more chicken than what the recipe called for. I altered the recipe and it is listed below on how I would cook it next time to avoid it becoming too thick.

Ingredients
- Cooked Chicken - 2 1/2 cups
- Condensed Cream of Mushroom Soup - 1 can
- Condensed Cream of Chicken Soup - 1 can
- Water - 2 soup cans
- All-Purpose Flour - 3 teaspoons
- Chicken Bouillon Granules - 2 teaspoons
- Black Pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Buttermilk Biscuits (8 biscuits) - 1 can, refrigerated
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients except biscuits in crockpot. Tear biscuits into small pieces (each biscuit in to about 4-5 pieces) and stir pieces into mixture.
- Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. You can add a little more water or some chicken broth if it appears to be getting too thick.
