Chicken N Dumplings – Slow Cooker

Made this today and it had a good flavor but turned out really thick. I cooked them closer to the 6 hours and then had to turn them on warm which I think contributed to it being so thick. I also had more chicken than what the recipe called for. I altered the recipe and it is listed below on how I would cook it next time to avoid it becoming too thick.

  • Prep Time : 15 minutes
  • Cook Time : 6h 00 min



  • Mix all ingredients except biscuits in crockpot. Tear biscuits into small pieces (each biscuit in to about 4-5 pieces) and stir pieces into mixture.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours. You can add a little more water or some chicken broth if it appears to be getting too thick.
