Baked French Toast
This is prepared the night before we always have this for breakfast Christmas morning.

Ingredients
- French or Sour Dough Bread - 1 loaf, in 1 inch slices
- Eggs - 6
- Milk - 1 cup
- Half And Half - 1 cup
- Vanilla - 2 teaspoon
- Ground Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Butter - 3/4 cup
- Brown Sugar - 1 1/3 cup
- Light Corn Syrup - 6 tablespoons
- Nutmeg - 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions
- Butter 9 x 13 baking dish. arrange the bread in the bottom.
- In large bowl beat together eggs, milk, half and half, vanilla and cinnamon. pour over bread. Cover and refrigerate over night.
- The next morning, preheat oven to 350. In a small saucepan combine butter, brown sugar, and syrup.
- Heat till bubbling and pour over bread.
- Bake for 40 mins serve with powdered sugar.
