We have gotten great response from all our our IN SEASON posts. So we are trying to keep it up. During Summer you can get great prices on fresh in season produce or if you have a garden it may be coming out of your ears from time to time.
This year it seems that everyone I talk to has more peppers than they know what to do with. So here is our round up of some of our favorite recipes that use A LOT of peppers. I have thrown my share of peppers out this summer and it hurts me to not use every last one. So if you have more than you know what to do with or want to take advantage of friends or neighbors overflowing peppers or want to grab a bunch while they are dirt cheap at the market here are several ideas on way to use them up. Freezing peppers is so FAST and so easy just cut and freeze. Then you can cook with them all year. You know when bell peppers are $3 a piece, I still have peppers to cook with, it is wonderful. A great way to put some garden goodness without having to know how to can or the time.
We really like meatloaf at my house and this is just a little fancier way to serve it. I can even serve this to company.
We like all things Asian when it come to our food so this dish is as good as take out and it uses a lot of peppers.
If you have a pressure canner give these a try. I know I buy a jar of jalapeno rings at least once or twice a month so I am glad to have some of my own this year.
I know you are thinking, “pepper jelly? really? what would I do with that?” but it is great for a appetizer over cream cheese or baked brie with crackers, and it is good for dips for chicken, pork, or lamb. (processed in a water bath)
Great fast way to grill up a great meal, and to a way to keep the heat out of the kitchen on on the grill.

Smoked Sausage with Peppers and Onions
Onions and peppers just go together. This Just looks so fresh and good.
This is another super fast dish, you can even cover and cook this in the microwave.
